FEDERATION OF TRADE UNIONS OF UKRAINE PRESS-SERVICE
On July, 17th, 2008 was hold session of Presidium of Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine. The Presidium has complied Oleksander Yurkin's request concerning its dismissal.
After that has begun its work the fourth Federation Council of Trade Unions of Ukraine. O.Yurkin has informed members of Council on motives of the dismissal.
Igor Lutsishin, Vice-president of FPU reported on situation which has developed in Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine.
On the basic question of the agenda of FPU Council «On the decision of several FPU member organisations concerning carrying out of Congress of Federation of Trade unions of Ukraine» has taken place the broad discussion. The decision to call VI FPU Congress on December, 10-11th, 2008 in Kiev was approved. Igor Lutsishin, Vice-president of FPU will act as FPU President.
Council has charged to the member organisations of Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine to work in order to define the nominee on post of FPU President according to requirements of the Charter of Federation. It is entrusted to FPU Presidium to develop the VI Congress preparation plan.
According to decisions of FPU Council on July, 17th, 2008 S.O.Kostin, FPU Vice-president was released from the post.
At Council session was accepted the Protest of Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine against a divergence of authorities and absence of appropriate social protection of citizens of Ukraine in the conditions of unlimited inflation.
